The Blue Hole is one of the most famous dive sites in the Red Sea and a magnet for divers. It is located a few kilometers north of Dahab. The Blue Hole has an almost circular shape measuring 150 m in width and 110 m depth. At a depth of 52 m it is connected with the open sea by a 26 m long tunnel which is well known as "The Arch" but not reachable on recreational dives. The boat’s zodiac will drop you near the dive site "The Bells" from where you will start your drift dive and finish the dive at the Blue Hole. In the deep blue you might have a chance to spot yellow fin tuna, orange spotted trevallies or schools of Red Sea fusili...ers. Getting shallower and closer to the Blue Hole the attraction is also lying on the rich sloping reef. The saddle which allows the entrance to the inside of the Blue Hole is only 7 m deep. You will find here a colorful coral garden full of life.
