El Shugarat

In Arabic, El Shugarat means tree or big garden, a well-chosen name for this dive site. One of the highlights of this dive site is a field of huge gorgonian fan corals which slowly cover the sloping coral wall. The big sandy plateau starts from 6 m down to 35 m. At around 16 m you will find a spectacular open canyon. Once you descend between the walls of the canyon at around 30 m you will see two big black corals. Then exit the canyon to the left and you will be flying over an amazing plateau full of gorgonian fan corals.
