Fraser

The Emperor Fraser sank on 16th December 2009. While the boat was mooring strong winds shifted suddenly and pushed her onto the reef. Sadly, she had been holed in several places below the waterline and was sinking without serious injury or loss of life. The wreck lies in 30 m at the very south-eastern end of Beacon Rock. The wooden superstructure has gone but still plenty to explore and to see start of corals in the remaining structure.
